The House of Literature in Wipfeld aims to awaken interest in reading and writing, and seeks to promote dialogue on the topic of literature between authors and their readers, young writers and contemporary wordsmiths, old masters, and future classics!
The Literature Museum, Literary Lounge, and the Literature Forum offer an open-air stage with numerous options for reading, discussion, and information about Franconian literature and writers.
Author readings, exhibitions, guided museum tours, writing workshops, and programmes for the kids target literature enthusiasts, but also schools and other educational institutions. Well worth a visit!
The project is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Agriculture and Forestry and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Bavarian Cultural Fund, and the District of Lower Franconia.
