The red thread of history spans the period from 1793 to the German Reunification in 1990. Rural life and the development of military technology took up a large part of life in the region towards the middle of the last century. Several displays, supported by documentations, provide insights into the reality of days past.
The exhibition itself has been continuously complemented and expanded since the founding of the museum in 1997. Good news for you as the visitor, as there will surely be new exhibits available whenever you feel like coming by again.
Two major annual events dominate the museum calendar.
